The Florida Section ASCE Annual Conference was held on July 13th – 16th at the International Golf Village in St. Augustine. This event is the largest event the Florida Section holds each year with about 400 engineers and managers attending. There were great speakers and topics at each of the five different technical “break-out” sessions. These sessions provided Engineering Management, Geotechnical, Water/Wastewater, Transportation, and Structural Professional Development Hours.
We would like to say thanks to all of our volunteers and sponsors who helped out with our event. We would also like to mention and congratulate Tom Grogan who won the Engineer of the Year award at the conference.

The July 2011 Newsletter has been posted to the Newsletter page. Enjoy!
