We are proud to announce that the ASCE Jacksonville Young Member Group (YMG) is officially active!
Our main goal is to focus on the professional development and engagement of early-career civil engineers and related professionals. We host various events, including volunteer opportunities, social gatherings, professional development sessions, technical workshops, and initiatives for K-12 students.
Additionally, we are placing a specific focus on the enhancement of student engagement within the University of North Florida (UNF) community. By establishing connections with the students, we aim to create a supportive environment that encourages personal and professional growth. Beyond UNF, we are exploring various avenues for engagement with other communities and organizations, fostering collaboration and expanding our reach. Through these collective efforts, we aspire to build a vibrant and inclusive community that not only meets the needs of our current members but also attracts and nurtures future leaders in the field.
