Join the Jax YMG on March 15, 2025 from 11am-1pm for our Pickleball Social at the Southside Tennis Complex.
Participants will be randomly teamed up for open play matches. Registration is free, but space is limited so register ASAP to secure your spot!

YMG got in the holiday spirit at our “Jingle and Mingle with YMG” social at The Brix Taphouse.

November 5, 2024 (AKA ASCE Day)
YMG partnered with Florida Civil Educators Foundation (FCEF) to host a movie screening of the ASCE Cities of the Future film at Creekside High School.
The event included a showing of the new ASCE film, Q&A session, and a mini career fair for almost 300 students. Students had the opportunity to participate in a raffle for an “Engineering Starter Pack” which include a NCEES approved calculator.

YMG partnered with APWA Young Professionals to host a coastal cleanup at the Jacksonville Beach Pier. Supplies were provided by the City of Jacksonville “Clean It Up, Green It Up” initiative.

YMG hosted the Autumn Happy Hour at Aardwolf Brewing Company. This event was our last event of the fiscal year and served as a celebration of YMG’s 1st year since forming this past January.

YMG hosted a “Leadership Lessons” Panel Discussion with Past Presidents of the ASCE Florida Section followed by a networking social. Our Panelists answered attendee questions about their leadership and career experiences.

YMG proudly participated in the K-12 Outreach event at Chaffee Elementary School’s annual STEM night! YMG members set up engaging stations for students to build with spaghetti and marshmallows while learning about roadways and structures.
