ASCE Bridge Florida is back for the 20th Annual competition!
On April 11th, 2026 from 1-3 PM the ASCE Jacksonville Branch will host the local Bridge Florida Competition (formerly Engineering Encounters and historically known as the West Point Bridge Design Contest). Northeast Florida Middle and High School Students have the opportunity to compete in a virtual competition, where students learn a video-game like program to produce a virtual bridge! Schools in Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, and St. Johns Counties are welcome to participate in this annual event.

Winners from the local Jacksonville Branch competition will receive a trophy, recognition, and an invitation to the Statewide Competition taking place during the ASCE Florida Section Annual Conference on July 23-25, 2026, in Fort Lauderdale (Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort)!
